The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is proud to host 
Sensory Saturdays on the 1st Saturday of each month.

The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is open for special exploration hours from 9–10 am, thoughtfully designed for families navigating autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing or cognitive differences, and for other guests who benefit from accessibility accommodations.

About Sensory Saturday:

Experience our exhibits without heavy crowds before we open to the public with softened general lighting, decreased noise level, and limited visual stimulation on interactive exhibits wherever possible. Our facility is also ADA accessible and wheelchair friendly!

How to Participate:

50% off regular Science Center admission paid at the door. For prices, please click here. Pre-registration is not required to reserve your spot in this special program. Those looking to enter using the Bank of America Museums on Us promotion will be admitted starting at 10 am.

The Science Center opens at 10 am after this special program for the general public, members, and Museums on Us attendees.
