Second Friday of Every Month

Jam out under the Cox Science Center's full-dome planetarium, while the sounds of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and more merge with dazzling laser light visuals! 

On the second Friday of every month, rock out with a nostalgic throwback to the classic laser light spectacles you know and love. From Daft Punk to Michael Jackson, and Taylor Swift to Beyonce, we’re integrating music from some of the greatest artists of our time with mind-blowing laser-light visuals.

Cost: $11 for members; $13 for non-members (purchase below)

 

Please note:

  • The entrance gate to Dreher Park may be closed on Southern Blvd (closes at dusk). Please use the Summit Blvd. entrance and be sure to park within the designated Science Center parking lots.

  • Some lyrics within these laser shows may contain profanity or adult language/themes depending on the band/artist. Although there is no age restriction, some shows may be less suitable for young children. Purchase at your own discretion.

  • Admission to laser shows only includes a portion of Science Center exhibits. Each show lasts approximately 45-55 minutes. Doors lock 5 minutes after shows start and there is no late admittance. Please be sure to arrive early to ensure seating, which is first come, first serve.

Friday, November 8th, 2024 - Pop Royalty

6PM | Laser Taylor Swift: Calling all Swifties! Arguably one of the most prominent celebrities of the 21st century and the biggest musical artist of the last decade, Taylor Swift has taken the music industry by storm. Join us as we celebrate her musical journey with her greatest hits. From country to pop, this show is sure to have something for everyone. Couldn't get tickets to the Eras Tour? Laser Beyonce celebrates that journey in the most entertaining and exciting way possible.

8PM | Laser Lady Gaga: Far from the usual bubblegum pop and monotonous club-happy dance music that many female singers are known for, Lady Gaga's all-time hits have personality and edge. Her style is loud and flamboyant – the qualities that make her music an absolute magnet for fans and listeners. With her meteoric rise to fame, Lady Gaga is an undeniable force in modern music and entertainment. Bring some excitement and glam to your dome with Laser Gaga.

9PM | NEW! Laser Billie Eilish: Our newest show brings the music of the Grammy-winning pop sensation to life in a thrilling laser-light spectacle. Her unique and almost strange sound, voice, style, and all-around personality have enabled her to stand out from the crowd and break the mold of a typical singer, proving that talent will always trump what you look like or how you act. Billie's chart-topping hits like 'Bad Guy' and 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' fuel a mesmerizing display of swirling patterns and vibrant colors, echoing her unique ethereal sound that has captivated millions worldwide.
