BIRTHDAYS ARE BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

Thank you for your interest in hosting your child’s upcoming birthday with us! We are so excited to bring back the excitement of our birthday party packages for you and your family. Check out all of the fun we can provide with our various party packages below.

The Booking Process:

Birthday parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays at the following times:

  • Solar: 11 am-12 pm; 12 pm-1 pm; or 4 pm-5 pm
  • Supernova: 11 am-1 pm or 3 pm-5 pm

In order to book, please fill out our REQUEST FORM and email to Tristan Wood at twood@coxsciencecenter.org 

NOTICE: A minimum of two weeks advance notice and a 50% deposit are required to secure an in-person room for your birthday. Submission of the request form does not guarantee reservation of date or time as these are subject to availability. Cancellations within 14 days of the booking will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. 

 

Birthday Packages

Solar Package

Non-members $450, Members $400

  • Admission for up to 20 guests total (both adults and children are included); additional guests are $18/guest

  • Private one-hour room rental 

  • One party facilitator to facilitate, sanitize, and break down the party

 

Supernova Package

Non-members $650, Members $600

  • Admission for up to 30 guests total (both adults and children are included); additional guests are $18/guest

  • Private two-hour room rental 

  • Two party facilitators to decorate, facilitate party games and food distribution, sanitize, and break down the party. Sit back and relax!

  • Kitchenette Supplies 

  • Special guest appearance by Diggy the Dino (upon request)

  • Science Ed-Ventures - $200:
    • Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Lab – Party guests will be entertained by one of our in-house junior scientists as they concoct some of our famous science ice cream using Liquid Nitrogen.
    • Planetarium Show – Guests will get the chance to see a private planetarium show of their choice (for options, please see our website here.)
    • Fossil Shark Tooth Lab – Learn all about the ancient fossils of Florida, including real shark jaws and shark teeth, and the chance to take home a shark tooth necklace. 

**Pizza provided by Domino’s. Alternate options are available for an additional charge.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

  1. Can we bring in our own food and drinks? Décor?

    - Yes! While we offer party-sized meals through our a la carte menu, you are more than welcome to bring in food for your party or even have it delivered. All drinks must be non-alcoholic. Decorations are included in the Supernova package, but you may bring in additional decorations or use your own decorations entirely.

  2. There are things within the package that I’d like to add/remove. Is this possible?

    - Yes! While our packages do cover almost everything you need, we can build a customized package to better suit your party plan. Please email twood@coxsciencecenter.org  to get started!

  3. What time can we arrive for the party?

    - We allow the party parents access to the party area about 30 minutes prior to the start time while the birthday team puts the finishing touches together.

  4. Do my guests have to leave once the party is over?

    - Not at all! While the party area is only available to guests during the set time, the admissions associated with the party packages are valid for the whole day! We encourage you to inform your guests that they may arrive as early as one hour before your scheduled party time and may stay as long as we are open.

  5. Are balloons included with the decorations?

    - We do not include balloons with our decorations as we understand the impact they may have on our environment. Partygoers are allowed to bring balloons, but we ask that they are secured so that they cannot be released and that they are not filled with any sort of material (i.e. confetti, sequins, rice, glitter, etc.).
