Shark Preservation Week at the Science Center | July 7th - July 13th

Join us for a jaw-some week celebrating one of the ocean’s most respected predators - the shark! Enjoy hands-on activities, exclusive presentations, and ocean-themed fun for the whole family.

 

Daily Activities

Touch Tank Demonstrations
10:45am – 11:00am
Get up close with sea urchins, sea stars, and even real shark jaws!
Please note: There is no interaction with our live sharks.

Conservation Station with Our Aquarists
11:45am – 12:00pm
Learn how to protect sharks and support ocean conservation efforts directly from our expert aquarists.

Aquarium Feedings
1:00pm-1:30pm
Watch our aquarists feed the fish and gators during this exciting behind-the-scenes experience.
This experience takes place only on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday.

 


Weekend-Only Experiences

Alligator Petting
2:00pm-2:15pm
Meet a baby alligator in our Aquarium and snap a photo with this Florida favorite.
This experience takes place only on July 7th, 8th and 9th

Planetarium Show Schedule

All Week Long

  • Take a selfie with a real shark cage on our patio
  • Enjoy ocean-themed crafts and hands-on activities throughout the day
