The Cox Science Center and Aquarium and FAU Stiles-Nicholson STEM Teacher Academy invites our community teachers for an exciting professional development day of STEM education and exploration. Community STEM organizations will host workshops and vendor booths covering a variety of STEM programming. Explore interactive STEM exhibits, including our newest traveling exhibition.

October 12, 2026, 9 am - 3 pm

For all PBCSD K-12 educators with a current valid teacher I.D. If your I.D. does not have your picture on it, please present a government-issued photo I.D. along with your school/home school I.D. upon entrance and check-in.

This event is free for teachers, but must register in advance by October 6.

Non-registered attendees are welcome to enjoy free admission with a valid teacher ID. Session seating will be prioritized for registered teachers, with any remaining availability opened to non-registered attendees. Please note that complimentary lunch is provided exclusively to registered participants.

Call for presenters & exhibitors:

During the Teacher STEM Open House, we will be showcasing educational, professional development and classroom resources for K-12 STEM Teachers in Palm Beach County. If you are interested in presenting, please take a moment to fill out the form here.  

50-minute presentation sessions are available between 10am-11:50am and 12:30pm-3pm. Presenter submissions are due by October 6, 2026.
